Maguire and Lendelof are not good enough for Manchester United,they are not a top four club kind of defenders,they might be okay for clubs like west ham and Leicester city not Manchester United. That's not the issue, Maguire wasn't playing yesterday either so what's the issue in yesterdays game ?
The absence of a quality midfielder to play, you saw how perfect it was for coutinho coming up in the game right ?
Manchester United lacked that, a new midfielder should have come in earlier with energy but them the coach didn't see it coming.

Manchester United is a team without proper midfielder. The result is always loss rather than good forward and defence.

In the first 30 mins of the match, Manchester United were good only because of that blunder of martinez made and it raised their morale. However, after 30 mins I was totally surprised that the midfield got dominated again and they even outplayed us in 2nd half. Kudos to De Gea saved so many time or else it would have been an easy win for Aston Villa.
