All the tokens you see in the market are backed by a project. Teorically, the token is built to moderate the project. Take the example of Binance coin BNB which a coin built by exchange Binance to help users paying trading fees then became a utility token in Binance smart-chain network.

You can create thousands of tokens but no one will think to invest in it by hold or trade and even exchanges won't accept listing such a token without any real value or a trade volume.
