The thing is that the one whom you are copying must be having higher budget than yourself which is why that person can afford to lose the amount but you can't.
Copy gambling is very risky and must be avoided at all costs. It's also completely useless in luck bases games where since every person has a different luck.
On the other hand, creating you strategy and testing your own luck is more beneficial as it will improve your style of gambling while staying within your budgets.

In my opinion copying in gambling is not at all good option because you might go beyond your limits in budget and it might still not work for you so what's the fun of doing that?
