I'm also not always able to control myself, it's just that I try to keep a cool head when I lose or win when I gamble. the logic is simple, if I lose $10 and then stop to continue tomorrow then I only lose $10 but if I continue to gamble, my percentage of being able to reverse my initial loss is only 40% then it's better to continue playing tomorrow than forcing myself, money management is an amazing trick.
even then the chance is very small because indeed what I feel right now when we lose in gambling and continue to gamble it will only increase losses because indeed we are already hot and rely on emotions in gambling.
I personally, if I have lost in gambling today then I will finish and start again when my heart is calm because it will have a very severe impact when our hearts are hot because we lose but continue to insist on gambling
like what @desmong said 'Discipline is important in gambling' it's the right sentence. self-discipline such as managing emotions and also finances when playing gambling is something that must be done if we want to come out as a winner when gambling, sounds trivial but many gamblers fail to apply it (including me it's still a little difficult to do that).

I have a mentor who always reminds me to invest, trade or gamble with a cool head. if you are able to play with a cool head then 'show your victory' with pride and satisfaction Wink
