Most people are losing in gambling and the winning percentage is really very less. That's maybe one reason we hear people telling about their loses and very few tell us about their wins in gambling.
Also, i think those who win big in gambling do not tell us because they do not want to be noticed or they want to avoid taxes on their gambling gains.

If the probability of losing is high and the probability of winning extremely small, then statistically a beginner like me is more likely to fail than to make a good profit. Can I quit this?

Moreover, there are no role models in the face of millions of winning players who, if they exist, prefer not to advertise it because of taxes.
