The term old football player should change in recent years. Players like Messi, Ronaldo, Buffon, Ibrahimovic are still playing at the top level. I think Lewandowski can maintain this form for many years. He is a striker that I really like. He manages to score in every way. He has become an icon for Bayern.

That is true , back in the days when the two GOAT like maradona and pele still active playing , the trends make players to retire at the age of below 40. Both pele and maradona retired from the professional footballplayer at the age of 37 and that counted as the edge of a career that time but yeah as time goes by nowadays we get used to see a 40+ y.o still fit to play the whole 90 minutes of the game.

Cristiano approaching his 37 years old now and seems still ready for the next 4-5 years.
And theres is lewandowski , 33 now and yeah he has a lot of times left to have more action in the field and breaking more records in bundesliga. 7 years more for lewy, why not?
