The FA Cup may not be Man United's priority this season, but still it would be better if Man United could win the FA Cup trophy. Because a good team is a team that can get a lot of trophies, then with Man United being eliminated from the FA Cup it is not a profitable thing. Don't make it an advantage that
with Man United eliminated in the FA Cup it can concentrate on other competitions, Man United should be able to set a strategy in order to survive in all competitions. What hurts more is Man United having to lose to Middlesbrough, which Middlesbrough is not a team from the Premier League.
That would be basically just a show that they are doing "okay" but they know that the real test will come next season. Ronaldo will be yet one more season older, and they are not sure how to use all the offensive material that they have and they are basically just focusing on getting by this season.
The better they do the better for them next season obviously but the end of the day this season is a by season for them at the very least. This is why I do not believe that we should focus on something like that, we should be focusing on how they could get like top 5 spot so that they would be fine for next year and which manager they will get this summer. If they can get someone like Pochettino then they would be fine.
