sadog, if you're going to use google and using keywords such as mining, cryptocurrencies and any others of related. You're likely to fall with those scam websites. Google doesn't filter those scam mining websites and even ponzi schemes, they're there at the top of the results when you always do that. Now that you know that they're likely a scam, it's better for you to be vigilant and aware as you search on google if it's related to cryptocurrencies and investing.

Honestly Google is not a good place to search for a genuine project. The scammers use to pay much to make sure that they occupy the first pages on Google ranking. Besides that Google is doing her own business too.
But another good sign to know scam is when they promise you high return. You will have to ask yourself that if they give you this high returns, what will be their own benefits?
About tour account deletion, do you want to delete your bitcointalk account or your account in the scam site?

Everybody uses Google in almost everything. That's why it's also used by the scammers to trick those that are interested with specific features, the advertisement that they get there isn't being checked by Google and they're also showing at the top results.
We can report if we see some of them but the problem, with the newbies, they don't know what's legitimate and not.
