It was a very right decision because if I had that much money I would also do almost the same thing as you because it is still better than having to ask and rely on other people's decisions, because basically when someone has benefited, he also often forgets about other people who ever gave him advice, so that the adviser would also not want to give actual advice on it.

I think asking for advise is really helpful mate, remember that we are in crypto community in which all of people here had knowledge in market.
so sharing ideas will be a big help for us to decide but it doesn't mean that we need to follow every single details people here will tell us.
it is us who always needs to make the move and advise is only for reference .
