I'm speechless. Do you really think that changing DNS servers is a better solution when compared to paid VPNs like Nord, Express etc? Also, she might not face any issues from Sportsbet(Customer care needs to clarify that), but she could definitely face issues from her government later on.
I don't know the Indonesian laws but in many countries, laws prohibit unauthorized websites too be available to the citizens but don't prohibit citizens to use those websites. That is to say only websites are likely to be punished, not the users. Moreover according to Doell, all indonesian ISPs are not blocking sportsbet.
I recommend anyone to always respect the TOS and the laws of your country, do not use VPN if the person knows that your country is banning gambling, also do not use gambling sites when the casino in the TOS prohibits your country to use the casino, it makes no sense to use a casino that is banning your country, what is the advantage of depositing money, winning and then not being able to withdraw because the casino found out that the person broke the TOS because he is using the casino when his country was banned? That is true, binance would have disabled people from the country to be able to login or register even if they mask their IP address, but some people can have some ways to have fake verification and fake everything to make use of binance. This is risky too and I will not advice anyone to do that. If other reputable exchanges are supported, binance is not the only good exchange.
That is true Binance is not the only reputable exchange out there decentralized exchanges are even better for your privacy sake. Some people like OP will find ways to bypass the system and use the service not minding the consequences. It's good to adventure and explore new things but at what cost
the sad part of it all is that there are people that in your country there are allowed casinos but they prefer to use those casinos that are not allowed and they break the TOS of these casinos and are inventing lies that the casino is a scam, only when they are very much in demand and that tell the whole truth, there was a case here on the forum of someone who lied, lied and only after many days he confessed that he was lying and that he used the casino while he knew that his country is prohibited from using that casino
