There are news of cricket coming from Ukraine as CEO of Ukraine Cricket Federation saying, 'Developing cricket in Ukraine has almost been an obsession'. I never knew that there is Cricket association in Ukraine. Lets hope things get settled peacefully and we see normal life returning to Ukarine.

I actually did not know that Ukraine was into cricket. The recent things that are going on in that country are absolutely inhuman.

And we can see how the political situation can affect everything in that country. Unless the situation gets better they have a lot bigger problems to solve in their hand rather than cricket. And even after returning to normal life, the country will have to concentrate on its structural development first. Cricket in Ukraine just went behind a lot of years.

I agree that we should not bring sports into political issues but the thing is in the Indian subcontinent politics controls sports and almost every other thing in these countries.

You have also said that if it was not for the political tension we would see the India VS Pakistan series. But right now I think ok I like the way Pakistan is going about things. There was a time when they thought it would make a huge impact for them to play in IPL or have played against India but now I think they most probably don't care.
