The only reason for this would be that fortune jack do not want the account to change the hands and nobody would be able to sell or gift his account to anyone else. If anyone sell his fortune jack account, the buyer would never be able to change its phone number or email, thus this discourages account selling.
What else could be the motive behind it  Huh

Th reason is fine but how if the real owner lose their phone number accidentally? Since there is email verification, 2FA and even KYC verification, there should be a way to change the phone number by proving that the one who request to change the phone number is the real account. It reminds me that my registered phone number in Fortunejack is not active anymore since few years ago, fortunately phone number verification is something that is not being used regularly there is no significant problem related to phone number.
This is the next step to not paying.
Not to mention here it's just about the phone number which is not being used to make any payments. Very far now it is used to verify withdrawal. If the player number is not an express I am sure that until the player can prove ownership of the account.  So far there is an alternative way to verify the form check and I think it will tell
