I think that we learned something from these two contests and, probably, from next edition, icopress will make some changes (assuming that he will still keep the contests going -- of course, with administration's support as well). I advise that one of the changes to specify that all the users voting on any post will be automatically disqualified (in case they will be nominated by someone). Another suggestion that I am making is to take the contest to Ivory Tower board, thus ensuring that no members with ranks below Full Member are able to interfere. This way we will avoid a good amount of spam. Indeed, this would mean that members with ranks of Newbies, Jr. Member and Member will not be able to vote, no matter if they have more than 50 votes, but, considering the very low amount of such cases (during actual contest we had less than 5 such users, if I remember well) this would not be a problem.
