It is a good initiative to create your own javascript for a button, a good practice so to say. But there are also instances that most web devs preferred their own snippet or way to create a donation button -- such as using QR code for an easy scan or a JS script that copies the address itself (which is available in w3schools javascript tutorial^[1]). If I were to suggest on what project you could try working on that still ties with the 'bitcoinate' idea, I would suggest making the script available in github so people can easily fetch it but also comes with other features such as changing its theme just by calling specific methods or variables (which can be coded in JS ofcourse) -- making a bitcoin donate button more responsive and easy to use for devs.
