Every coin that goes up in rank 1-100 then the coin becomes one of the most popular coins because of the Hype given from their platforms such as Axie, CRO and Matic especially when Crypto prices rise in 2021 so some of these coins are still very popular and some meme coins have also become so popular that from the very beginning of their launch, they immediately rank fairly well in terms of their trading volume.

I can count 100s of altcoins that were in the top 100 CMC list a few years ago but now not even traded in the smallest exchange. The development of the project depends on the team's inspiration heavily otherwise it is waste of time for both parties. We discuss consequences but keep ignoring the reasons, IMHO.
