Going abroad, why you should buy a cheap notepad? Is it forbidden to travel with a laptop or iPhone?

I was traveling to Germany, I had an iPhone with me and I took my laptop with me, no problem.

The thing in Notepad is a very trivial thing, it can be lost at any time, so if you want to write a story, you can save it on your iPhone or laptop without writing it in Notepad, It is much safer.

People do really love to complicate things even if it wasnt really that needed much for them to do which they could simply make use of the current or latest gadgets without any problems and without
going into much more extent on having those seeds on a book or notepad or something because other storage alone would be just enough and not to make yourself on a hassle just because you
are just too paranoid when it comes to safety of your keys.Well, its understandable but it shouldnt really be ending up on being complicated or going with the basic things in life.
Having a phone or laptop should be enough and any check ups wouldnt really go into the point on checking on everything.They wouldnt able to find out.
