When there are a lot of economical problems in the world people do not take care about nature protection.
They think about inflation and how they lose their money because of big inflation in the country.

I agree that a lot of depends how usefull is the project and what services and tools it offers.
If project offer services and tools that do not depend on cryptocurrency the price of its tokens do not depends too much on cryptocurrency market.
Protection of planet from pollution do not depend on cryptocurrency market.
