If you believe that you found a project that will be around even after 10 years, which is rare, then you would be able to buy at any price and you could still profit.

Doesn't mean that you should buy and hold every coin, because there are only few coins that will be great even after 10 years, so you need to find ones that fit that bill. Being a great investor is less about when to buy and more about what to buy, if you know what to buy, when you buy it doesn't matter as much as what you bought.

Which is why investors care so much about the fundamentals of a coin and disregard the price for the most part, an asset that has good fundamentals it is always a good buy if you are willing to hold for the long term, however if you can find it before the price explodes then that can be the investment that can changes your life.

After all many newbies dream of having the ability to select several projects that skyrocket and earn huge profits out of them, however truth to be told you only need to do this once during your life as an investor, since if you invest in a good coin at the early stages then it is not rare to see profits up to 100x your investment, and even if the amount you invested in such a project was small that is more than enough to increase your capital substantially, however finding those coins in this market is really difficult, as we have so many scammers that are trying to make their scams look like one of those coins that many people have given up and prefer to take the safer path and just invest in bitcoin and be done with it.
