Polkadot will only develop itself while new tokens that use the Polkadot network will not get development like Polkadot, because Polkadot itself is famous not because of those who have launched the network, but because of a clear team and lots of support so that it can attract many investors and traders into Polkadot and become more advanced.
So the Polkadot coin is not a bad coin to choose.
