Tor isn't that slow. I use Tor, but most thread fully loaded in less than 15 seconds.
Any chance OP lives in a country that tries to block websites and censor the internet? I've just tested the
10th anniversary art contest, and it downloads 10 Mbit/s through Tor.
OP still can make reply so it's not censorship/block. It's more likely the government force ISP to throttle connection from specific website, IP block or country. Although it's more likely OP currently is high.
