If they do that, I am 99% sure that along with crimea, they will be given those two new lands, and nobody will attack them and they won't attack anyone and the world will go on like nothing happened. There will be hatred there, but the war will end.

You are confusing the purpose of these operations. The United States had an attempt to build democratic power there (although I initially considered this a useless undertaking). Russia's goal is the destruction of independent Ukraine, the seizure of territories and attempts to "build a new empire of the USSR-2."
