Well I agreed that it's good to invest in altcoins however an investor has to be extra careful and do research inorder not invest in a wrong altcoins, of course not all these coins are profitable in a long run, there are some coins that will be abandon by its developers in a later stage, thus only invest in reputable and trusted altcoins with good future potentials, and avoid pump and dump coins especially meme coins,
It's obviously that if the price of cryptocurrencies is bullish definitely majority of altcoins will pump thus enabling it investors to recoup their investment.

And that is yet another added risk when it comes to investing in altcoins, you could do everything right and select a coin after investigating a lot of altcoins and choosing the best, but all of that would be for nothing if the developers decide to abandon the project midway and rugpull their investors, something that is quite common, so while the profits you can get with altcoins are undeniable, at the same time the massive loss you can incur are undeniable as well, with the difference that losing your money is many times more likely than earning any money with those coins.
