This is the DAO centralized around their website. The idea of troopers is that they can vote in the decisions, guide the development and such. But it is requisite for u a trooper to keep ur stake in a centralized storage, to be able to pass the vote. Wallet connected to their site can be controlled and exploited by them as though they can control the DAO.

As stated in our whitepaper, page 7, 5.1:

You first need to buy LIST tokens and deposit them into the voting contract to vote. After the
deposit, you can use the deposited LIST tokens to participate in the "Vote to Earn" section.
Through signature verification, rewards (LIST tokens) can be withdrawn from the contract.
