Because it stands for everything crypto anarchists were against in the first place, and centralization doesn't help their case. I don't hate it but i can't see anything revolutionary in their tech. It's basically only for micro transactions with low fees. That's not even tiny bit interesting to me.

Plus the founder has a huge amount of CRP tokens ready to dump on there blind followers. Imagine you are investing on XRP that disguising in crypto world while they are literally the bank like in decentralized word that full of crap. XRP shares a huge marketcap on crypto while it’s directly opposite on decentralization. Other blockchain is worth it to get that spot while blind followers keep buying without DYOR.
