Yes, I know about this procedure too but I decided to introduce a new way of doing it also, you can check it out above, though the process might take some (maybe) seconds longer before you arrive at your UID, but then, I think the procedure is still worth knowing, I believe in the saying that "knowing several ways to do one thing is an advantage".
For convenience, I will also add this procedure to the guide above, for those who might not want to leave bitcointalk for whatever reason.
In my opinion, it is still the same as the goal is to set up the Bitcointalk notifier which is a great help. As you have explained that you are going to introduce a new way of getting UID then the thread should be "How to get your UID". The difference I see is only about getting the UID and the rest is about the Bitcointalk notifier that is made by TryNinja.
