Don't put all your eggs in one place. If you decide to buy something else that BTC, you can always buy first the BTCs and after that use them to buy whatever you decide. By doing this at least you'll contribute to the BTC acceptance.

Yeah, trading legal items with Bitcoins contributes to it being accepted more and more, which is good for the value.
