I ask the same thing in Request for Nigeria local board, which is like their main local board request topic and looks like CryptopreneurBrainboss already contacted those in charge but I didn't find out whether he got any reply so far.

Have you ever (by "you" I mean members of Nigerian community) tried contacting Cyrus regarding your request as he is moderating Other Languages section to get any sort of feedback what would be the requirement for getting the local board. He helped us when we asked for more child boards in our local, so maybe you can get some answers from him.

We didn't want to start sending messages from different accounts on a specific demand, so to be on the safe side, we appointed the leader of the group CryptopreneurBrainboss to talk to Cyrus in Pm instead of going individually. We don't want it to appear as if it's our right, we are only demanding.
