Cologne can't overtake Freiburg anymore due to the goal difference (unless we see a 10-0), but Union Berlin is only 1 point behind Freiburg. To safely stay at the 5th rank Freiburg must win. Union Berlin plays at home against Bochum, a game which they are likely to win, especially as they have the pressure to be overtaken from Cologne. I am not sure if it makes a difference on being 5th or 6th though.

For Cologne they may not have a chance but it is still very possible for Union at this time. of course Freiburg should win but the thing is it will be very difficult considering the opponent they will be facing, an easy opponent to play against.
At the moment they are in a very difficult condition but they are not backing down because if they did they might give up their ticket to compete in a prestigious league.
