from what i understand you want to buy mining equipment to mine bitcoin in college dorm, but you have 2 problems with that:

1 - You are wrong when you think that the electricity in your dorm is free, if you use mining equipment then you will be making the college pay a high electricity bill per month, that is, you will be harming the college

2 - mining equipment is noisy, meaning you will be causing pollution in your dorm

Lastly:

Don't harm college, if you want to do mining then do it in an appropriate place and don't do cloud mine, do mining for yourself
