I completely agree. Technologies like bitcoin are much more than charts and candles, it is a system of money that anyone can utilize as everyone else. All other means of exchanges take a bureaucratic approach and not everyone can use it like everyone else, more like it is designed to work for a select few. This is truer in poor and middle class nations.

Having any sort of general consensus would be difficult as the scene is filled with so many different actors right now, the most plausible approach is not normalizing processes that undermine the decentralization of bitcoin, no matter how popular they become, like, storing on exchanges, freely submitting KYC documents, etc.

I agree and i wanna add two points that support my thesis.

1. China banned bitcoin multiple times, without any lasting effects. And its a country that has way more surveillance measures than most countries.
2. El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as a nation and kinda pushed it on people, they didnt even have the time to understand it. And there was protests and so on against it. So i think its best for bitcoin to get adopted voluntarily by individuals themselves. It requires more from the indiviual to really understand and use it, but in return it can give them control over their money(time) again. And its a process that cant be replaced by a nation just pushing it on people. With Bitcoin people cant just outsource their thinking to the government anymore, they need to understand it themselves since it requires self-responsibility of the individual to hold their own keys and so on(theres no customer support). But since youre actually challenged as an individual to use bitcoin, it can open the door to actually questioning things and appreciating having a way to gain control over your own money(time) back. And it will also take time to understand why bitcoin is designed like it is(spoiler its not cuz its dumber than shitcoins) and this knowledge is necessary too to keep bitcoin alive.
