I think what he mean there is 50 percent and not 50 btc but he didn't state the total btc he have so we have no idea if how big it will be if divided by 50 percent. Stake is a big casino and sportsbetting site so your source is likely telling the truth. With the money they have they can allow a really high limit. They aren't afraid because they know that they have the advantage over every bettors.

50 btc is indeed a very huge amount even in the current price of btc now but if you will visit big sites such as stake you can see that some players there can afford to bet over 50 btc. They are called whale gamblers or can also be termed as high rollers.
