When it comes to cryptocurrency Investment, of cause Long term is a better type of investment. I know people do day trading and there are higher risks with that even if you are an expert because any news can swing the market in a split second and everything is lost especially if you are leveraging and if you want to HODL for the long term also make sure you are investing in the top projects and not some scam coins.

The thing is, the higher risk means higher reward if you are right, and lower risk means lower reward. So, by comparison, if someone does short term, even like hourly trades then they could either lose money or earn a lot more than a long term investor, there is no way of knowing how much you will make because nobody knows how great of a trader you are, or you could make a ton of profit one day, and not so much another day because even veterans do not have exact day profits every day.

But, when you do long term investment, buy it today and sell it 20 years later, it is almost guaranteed that you will make a good profit and that is why it matters so much. I personally believe that long term is easier and ı do not want to risk my money, even if there is a possibility of making more money, I am not fine with that risk and I rather just have a lower but guaranteed profit.
