No, it doesn't work, if I understand you correctly. But what's the problem with using a ready-made link? Does it somehow deanonymize the user? I never remove the URL, but just paste it into the post.
But you puzzled me, if possible, tell me why you do not use a ready-made link?

The ready-made link is too long than usual which makes me feel uncomfortable when attaching on my post or thread. It giving me a hard time to edit a thread that has image if I use long links since I’m just using mobile device when browsing the forum. I’m ok about giving the source link, it's just my personal preference to use short link on my postings.
