This is very much true. Unless a flag is supported by DT members it does not carry enough weight. Moreover, some scam accusations are often from newbies who doesn't know how the system works or who deliberately want to fault the reputation of the company. That is why when such accusations are true, DT members tend to take it up from them and create the necessary flags and tags.
But on the other hand, it is better to have a clean review of reputation than to have some messy feedbacks even if they don't have weight.

The forum is not a court but there are systems to help us having as safest forum as possible.

As always, DT members are human and they can make mistakes too but because of decentralization we have, if a flag does not get enough support, it will neither be active nor valid.
