Whats the guarantee that we are actually buying from the original dev?
May be he is still keeping large amount in paper wallet somewhere and is lurking to see the prices go up.
Once the price is up, he will start dumping again.
So i think we should forget this coin and move on, unless you want to donate the original dev more money.

Or we can hardfork it again and remove all dev coins.

That didn't work last time either after they Forked it, Mogui the old dev reinstated his premine somehow and dumped them causing the eToken market to crash.
