Most people find "Alternate cryptocurrencies" board is too messy, except "Mining (Altcoins)". Besides, how many merit source application which mention they'll focus on B&H or Altcoin board.

"Development & Technical Discussion" already serve that purpose, as long as it's not too "far" from Bitcoin. Few years ago there were more threads about such topic.
