Still depends on preferences of the player. But bankroll proper management is real I'll important if the player wanted to last longer playing. Some people tend to YOLO, e.g, betting 25%, 50%,75%< or even 100% of their balance on a single bet. This kind of betting strategy is dangerous but if you're lucky, it's a great win.
It all boils down to the risk you're willing to take.

Preference doesn't mean that you have to have a different style of bankroll management. Bankroll management means how long you want to play and how much money you have and so forth. Which means that if we end up with something that is not so risky or easy, then we are going to end up with a problem.

So, let's say you have 100 dollars and you want to gamble for 3 hours, you can't bet 30 dollars each time. That's not going to happen, it's impossible. At the end of the day, we are talking about arranging it accordingly to your preference. If you want to gamble for long, have a little money then have little bet, have a lot of money but want to bet long then have decent bets, have a lot of money but want to bet very high, and end quickly then do that.
