Your concerns may be true about the situation on the Alternate cryptocurrencies board regarding the merit system, but actually I don't think the board is completely ignored by merit sources or other merit users. At least 101,174 merit have been distributed on the Alternate cryptocurrencies board since the merit system was introduced, and average 521 merit were distributed during January - June 2022 (not including July). The average sender was 122 users from January to June, and the average recipient was 167 users. The total of merit distributed on the Alternate cryptocurrency board from January to date is 3372 merit (including this month).
