If you put a lot of effort, You can improve your winning chances on trades. You can make profit in your trades but this doesn't guarantee you in escaping poverty. If you are on poverty line, It would be wise to gather some knowledge first and put effort on trying demo trades before you put money in your trades, This will give you hands-on experience and clues of things that you shouldn't do. Trading has risk and if you can't accept the risk of losing your money, Just stay away from it. if the OP will be using money that he needs to pay for bills, better not to. use only extra funds to get a grip of crypto trading. there's no rush in this market. some newcomers are in a hurry because they have the misconception that crypto can get them rich fast. it depends on their strategy and how fast they can understand this market. it takes a lot of hard work as you need to understand the market performance of the coin you want to trade with. this is not an easy peasy job.
