Yes, one man alone can’t really change the luck of a team in terms of winning the game. Ronaldo alone can’t change the fortunes of Chelsea if any love to move over to the club is possible. He would possibly play alongside Kante who would work his magic in the midfield and create chances giving him the opportunity to score goals. But that combination still wouldn’t be able to get past most big clubs as everyone is stepping up their game in preparation for the news season.
I hope Manchester United can continue with the form it’s currently displaying as it played woefully last season. But going with their performance at their friendly games, one can be hopeful about its performance this season.

Actually Cristiano Ronaldo can be a lethal weapon if he is in a team and playmates who have the same vision. He has proven that at Real Madrid, if you say his ambition can destroy his career I can't justify that, because in fact players play with big ambitions. He was good at real madrid but it's not when he was on the MU. You must also see the the atmosphere of the club has been giving a huge impact to the performance. Majority of players in real madrid at that time when ronaldo was there have very big capacity unlike when he was on MU.
You might see how bad meguire and he is still become the main starter for the club. So, you can't compare the atmosphere of MU with real madrid.
