I think they should devise other means to bring in new players before the window closes. There are still quality players who would likely join them. Chelsea's bad luck continues as their competitors manage to secure that player and they appear almost ready to make the deal. To attract these big names, Chelsea must introduce a good strategy, but the summer transfer window is also coming to an end.

Chelsea is yet to add any star players to their squad. I don't think Chelsea's performance last season was up to expectations. If their goal is to win the title, they need an experienced striker. Otherwise, they will not be able to survive in the competition with strong teams like Liverpool and Manchester City. Although Thomas Tuchel is an experienced coach, he is yet to take any necessary steps to strengthen the team. Wait and see how Thomas Tuchel strengthens his team.
