I agree, there is no scientific explanation that Feng Shui can increase one's probability of winning as well as there's proof/evidence that it could give some luck. For me, it's just a regular lucky charm that we believe it can increase our chances but in reality, it doesn't work like that because it's only the confidence and comfortability in playing are the ones' that is increasing.
There's no right or wrong about believing in these things as long as we are not harming anyone and it's still clever to know your boundaries when it comes to activities like these.
