Yes that is what we know and we never thought that the objects that we saw outside are still part of this tradition. All the time we see them as a decoration but they do actually have some benefits like luck other than making the place look beautiful.

feng shui not only about putting furniture at right place but it also county about earth elements at around the point. air , land , water and also fire element counted to get best flow . they believe good combination from all of these element will bring positive effect to their place. For chinese they really have to follow this rules to bring luck to their home. but for others maybe its looks funny. today , alot people outside chinese also use this technique to bring their luck .
