The Gunners are setting their sights on Barcelona forward, Memphis Depay on a free transfer. Should the Dutch player move to the Emirates, it will aid Gabriel, in his style of play and it would certainly boost their already positive pattern of play.
Arsenal look ready for the season and I'm expecting a lot from them, no doubt if Arteta manages to get the signature of the Dutch, the Gunners wilo be a terror to teams in the Premier league.

I haven't heard of Arsenal interest in Depay at the moment, Depay really wants to leave Barcelona after his position was threatened due to Lewandowski arrival but so far Juventus are the club that are interested in signing him, but if Arsenal are also trying to get Depay of course I will be very happy, because then we will have sufficient stock in the position of a qualified and experienced attacker, even though we already have Jesus but we also need proper backups in case Jesus is injured or absent.

Memphis is a good player and he has to accept that his time is up at Barcelona, following the club's heavy recruitment this summer. And the worst was when he was forced to relinquish the No.9 shirt in favour of Lewandowski. That besides the point, there are other clubs interested in him. I don’t think Arsenal want him. Juventus is another club linked with signing him in recent weeks. Arteta and Edu are only interested in players with the right age(21-25) and the right mentality. That’s because of the project they have at hand.
