That is indeed true, playing in a fake gambling app where there is only imaginary money will only fuel the gambler's desire and cravings towards where the real gambling activities are. They will start to think that they have what it takes in the real deal because of their winnings in the fake gambling app but the gambler didn't know that the risk is not the same because in the app, your movement is not that risky as there will be no real consequence if you lose unlike in the real gambling where your brain will always make sure that you got to make the very best move to avoid losses.

We know that human mind or brain would definitely know the difference which would automatically triggers out that you should play with real money to have real winnings and this is what make things different.
If you do really want to quit gambling then you should really avoid yourself on playing even though it wont really be that real money but still it would really trigger out that kind of interest which would make
you gamble even more and its a wrong idea that people who are addicted would completely stop on what they are doing when you are still making yourself get involved with such activity.
Dont gamble if you do like to quit but if not then you would be ending up on the same story.
