altcoin have potential to growth too, especially projects that build important utility to solve problem in crypto currency market. for beginers bitcoin and ethereum was safest coins in crypto market now although it have high volatility at the moment, but for long term its proven as good coins to generate profits. maybe for beginers could allocate small portion for low caps coins to earn huge return.
