Look at the video card 5600 xt. My GPU with Samsung memory draws 78 watts from the wall and produces 39.5 megahash. You can make 42-43 megahash, but then the consumption rises to 90-95 watts, depending on the temperature and consumption of the cooling system. And the price of these video cards is not much different.

I have always try as much as possible to avoid AMD graphic cards because I had a bad luck with them in the past, maybe it was because I bought them used, they just died on me and I lost 1400$, both graphic cards are RX Vega 56, Nvidia just works best for me but haven't tried out the new builds from AMD.

I think that this is not a problem with AMD, but with your inexperience in buying used video cards or you are out of luck. 5600 xt mines great out of the box like nvidia.

I heard that those RX 6600 are even better, what do you say? 5600xt or 6600xt

Hashrate is higher with the 5600xt around 40MH/s 110W for the 6600xt 32MH/s 70W or less depending which manufacturer. I have a ASrock RX 6600 XT Challenger Pro (3 fans) and it is running cool with PhoenixMiner on Debian bookworm/testing.

Power add another 15/20W depending on the rig you use.

Not much difference between them in efficiency so get whichever is the cheapest I would say, but who am I.
