Yes, now I understand it too. Security first. I think that is why he was nonstop talking about it in his podcast. He just wants to be in a good life in case something bad happens like injuries or other things like sudden trades.

I have read about this too somewhere on Twitter but I think the meeting was just for training exercises/working out which is normal for players, especially in summer.
Kobe also worked out with Tatum before but Kobe didn't become a Celtic or Tatum didn't become a Lakers.
This is nothing unless the management of the Brooklyn Nets is really trying to trade KD. They are not. The offers given were "okay" but the counters they threw is impossible for the other end to deal with.
