What makes it even more funny, Leon Edwards is not a knockout artist. Only one knockout in 14 UFC fights. And he knocks out best p4p fighter. Double lol. Usman has never been knockout in his career - gets KOed by a guy who does not have knocking power and usually wins by decision. Triple lol.

This! He can enjoy and celebrate for now but soon monsters who are hungry for that title will come knocking at him.

Edwards fought defensively which I didn't like until round 5. Round 1 was the better him but it's like he was hit on the head and forgot he was the challenger until the crucial moment came at Round 5. Yes, we know he had that one kick knockout (I was screaming in my lungs at the television to throw that kick) which is awesome but it had to land first.
It won't happen again if he will be on the same strategy as how he fought against Usman, mostly defense and it took a great toll on his energy, he is literally gassed out.
This is a learning point for him and the team, especially his coach. They must watch the film again and strengthen the weaknesses Edwards has to keep that belt. If Usman knew submission techniques, the fight may have ended earlier.

It was a really unexpected win especially after seeing how the fight went in the first four rounds edwards really needed the KO so he could win, it was a nasty kick i was really surprised he managed to caught usman off guard but after the fight i too thought that this style of fighting will not be good when he defends the title especially if its against usman or chimaev.
