If those people had carried out due-diligence beforehand they probably would have found many links related to "
1xbit or 1xbit1.com = scam" and they could have avoided becoming victims in the first place. Maybe when they stumble across the 1xbit1.com website they see various offers and sign up deals therefore they can get distracted and fall victim.
It is unfortunate that many victims only find this forum after they realise they have been scammed.
That's because many people don't know that this forum exists or don't know that on a bitcoin forum there's a section dedicated to gambling. When people feel the need to gamble they google "online casino". When they have cryptocurrencies they google crypto casino or the name of the coin that they have +casino. They don't google that with "reviews". Why? Because they act on an impulse. Sometimes they're drunk, sometimes they're down and feel like a win could make them fill better. They don't think that such casino could be a scam and take their money saying they broke TOS.
When their money is gone they have more time to look for help because they aren't able to play anyway.
